Bio

James Seefeld is a founder of Cambridge Biopolymers Limited, a startup that specializes in sustainable technologies for a range of industries and applications where he served as the Director in Charge. He has been at the forefront of change and innovation throughout his career and brings a broad range of experience spanning functional groups and industries. His curiosity and desire to learn was established at a young age growing up on a family farm and continued in his professional career beginning with a position in Research with Kraft, Inc. During his career he has easily moved between functional areas and developed a vast skill set, but his greatest expertise is in strategy, market creation/new innovation marketing, business development, international business, team building, and the management of cross functional teams. James holds a MBA in International Management and Marketing from Thunderbird and a BS degree in Animal Science from Iowa State. He currently lives in Santa Rosa, California with his wife. He enjoys travel, golf, and spending time with their Newfoundland swimming, and doing touch therapy work.
